Also, why does the world not want me to go see Michael?
First he postpones. Then his new date is a Sunday. Sunday means I miss the store. It also means there are like no trains at all. And there's a replacement bus service on top of the reduced timetable.
So if I go, I will end up having to sleep on the streets of Brighton like a hobo because it will be impossible for me to get home.
What bollocks.

NaNo: Day 2

It's the end of the second day and I'm about to go to bed. Just in case any of you care about my progress, my word count is currently 5227. I'm over a tenth of the way to the goal!

Quite exciting, isn't it?

Andre Vincent is coming to Chichester Festival Theatre (where no one except Jimmy Carr ever performs), and the damn website won't accept my card to buy a ticket! Excuse me while I cry.

The Store continues to be excellent though.

I've bought a notebook to use during NaNo, which I intend to customise tonight because it's a bit bland.

And a man I don't recognise has just been let into my house. I wonder who he is and what he wants.

I need your help guys.

It's my mum's birthday on Halloween, and I have no idea what to get her. Thoughts?
I'm awful at birthday presents, so any assistance will be much appreciated!

Trashy though it may be, X Factor really is my one true love <3 This post will once again be a case of me writing as I think, so if anything doesn’t make sense that’s why.

im going to try and be constructive... and im struggling... )

Just got trench foot at the Sloe Fair, and quite a few more bruises.

Finished reading The Unconsoled, and it didn't get any less weird. I've decided that it's the most frustrating book in the history of the world.

Can't wait to get to London tomorrow <3

And now I have something very important to ask you all:

Could you please recommend me music? I need things to listen to during NaNo, you see. Seperate songs or just good bands, anything goes as long as you think it's good and I won't have heard it before. So the more obscure, the better!

Cheers everyone x

I find myself faced with a difficult decision:

Do I go to the fair tonight, with fireworks and everything, or do I watch X Factor, what with it being the first live show? :/

So, I was browsing the comedy on ticketmaster just now, idly thinking about booking something. I knew Michael McIntyre was playing in Brighton loads, but I wasn't going to bother looking because it's in like, less than a month, and he was bound to be booked up totally by now. Then, because it's me and because I can't keep my love for Michael contained, I had a look at one date anyway - 5th November (and I only looked at that because it's a Thursday, and therefore not a work or store day) - and guess what's there?

FRONT ROW TICKET.

So, naturally, I snapped it up.

Don't suppose anyone knows where the Brighton Centre is in relation to the station? xD

I actually cannot believe my luck. I'm thrilled.

I well just booked a ticket to go and see Jimmy Carr by myself, like the sad and pathetic loser I am.

On the other hand, it's third row; how could I not do it? :D

Oh well. Off to Londinium in a couple of hours to go and see the marvellous Players.

NaNo planning month has officially begun! I thought it would never happen.
Seriously, it feels like I should be starting the bastarding thing today instead of starting to plan it. That's what I get for starting to plan a month in advance, I guess ;)
At least now I can justify typing up all the notes I've made!

So who else is watching Derren Brown?
I'll be very disappointed if I'm capable of getting up from the sofa after whatever goes on.

EDIT: I didn't stick. :(

Guess who just got her first tattoo? :D
I expected it to hurt like buggery, but it only really hurt when the needle was over the bone.
Eeee, it's epic.

I only got paid four days ago and already I'm getting poor. Sigh.

Just got back from a meal for Dodd's birthday, and it was fun. There were six of us, and almost half of the bill was hers because she bought so many drinks.

In other news, I don't think there is any other news. Wow, apparently I lead the most boring life ever. Oh! Except that I can't decide which tattoo to get, so if anyone fancies helping...

bearing in mind it will be quite small and on my hip, and i apologise for the size of some of these pictures, i just couldn't be bothered to make them smaller )

My uncle nearly knocked Boris off his bike.

I'm not sure whether I find it hilarious, or whether I'm super jealous that my uncle got to talk to Boris. I never see anyone wonderful in the street, and I'm in London all the time; my uncle goes once, and this happens!

So yeah, if you hear anything about Boris having a near-accident, that was my uncle. Haha.

Have a picspam of the good times yesterday with Sarah, Liz and Dannichu :) As you may be able to tell, I was having a bit of a photoshop experiment, which is why they're all edited differently.

Obviously the show was amazing too ;) There's no such thing as too many hugs!

X FACTOR IS FINALLY BACK

I don't like the new system. The audiences are bad enough in the live shows, I'm not sure how well I'll be able to cope with them throughout the auditions as well.

On the plus side, I've missed Simon's blinding teeth and moobs, and the way they all make fun of Louis, and Louis' incessant giggling at all the bad auditions. Haven't missed Dannii though. Or Cheryl, particularly.

My results:

English - A
Sociology - B
Psychology - C
ICT - D
Ancient History - E

The only ones I'm pleased with are the A and the E; and the E is only because I wasn't expecting to pass at all. I'm pissed off with the B because I only needed two more marks in my last exam to get an A. I'm not really surprised about the C, but after my amazing coursework (which I got an A in) I was sort of hoping for a B. Maybe. And ICT can just go to hell.

I think everybody I know has done better than me. It's super depressing.

Never mind. I got my picture with Niall Ashdown (finally) yesterday, so in the words of Prince George in Blackadder III, 'I'm as happy as a frenchman who's just invented a pair of self-removing trousers.' Even if I do look really disgustingly fat in it.

I just got attacked by the big telly downstairs.

It's not too broken and I managed to get mostly out of the way, but I can feel a massive bruise developing on my leg from where it caught me.

Whoops.
